The client is one of the largest Mobile Engagement and Communication provider catering to more than 150 countries. They had recently rebranded their company and launched 2 new websites each catering to different audiences.

Key Challenges

• To increase exposure of the Client’s website

• To maximize online registrations from App Developers who would use the clients SMS API to reduce their development efforts.

Strategic objective: The key objective was to maximize registrations from targeted developers. We optimized the targeted landing pages and ensured that Adwords, Google Analytics and CRM were perfectly integrated to capture conversion and related data.

To optimize the client’s PPC campaign, we created campaigns and sub campaigns for

both branded keywords and Competition Keyword, Generic Keywords, Programming Language Specific Keywords, and Use-Case Specific Keywords.

The purpose of this aspect of PPC management is to continually drive targeted traffic and improve the bottom line of the client by implementing several strategies on a weekly  and monthly basis.

Split-Testing Ads

Constant testing of new ad copy to beat previous successes. The system used ensured that the winning ad chosen in the split-tests is the one that contributes the most to the bottom line. This strategy turned out to be extremely effective

Negative Keywords

Negative keywords are critical to maximizing the profitability of any PPC campaign. In this step we used various techniques to identify the best negative keywords to use for each campaign in the PPC accounts. This allowed us to save thousands of dollars per month on wasted search traffic for our client

Landing Page Testing

In this step we worked with the client to create a variation of their existing landing page that capitalized on a new promotion they were doing. This test resulted in a significant increase in conversion rate which in turn allowed us to improve user experience and reduce bounce rates. This resulted in improving the ROI on the overall campaign

Quality Score

By consistently pushing traffic with highly relevant keywords and placements, we were able to improve the quality score of keywords. This helped us in drastically reducing the CPC on each keyword and thereby maximizes the value of budget spent with more quality visitors.

The Results

Since the client had rebranded and created an entirely new website from scratch we did not have any benchmarking data to compare. Since DG7 took over the online marketing campaign, the Client was able to generate more than 2,000 highly target visitors per month. The client saw numerous new conversions and successfully signed an annual contract to scale their lead generation program.

The following graph illustrates the results we achieved by implementing the above strategies over the course of 4 months. Each data point on the graph represents the monthly clicks generated by our PPC efforts. Online traffic has grown consistently month on month.
